3 AM. Morning pries. Exasperated. Bliss is fleeting. Memories wake before the light of day and im breathless until I go blue in the face. Romantic kids die in the street and dead songs sung by the deadest souls that I chose to place my faith in are shadows marked on thin concrete. Every piece of this lost along the way in pacified minds, like bottles under feet- reminds me we’re defined by what we choose to be in body, mind, and spirit: the will to be free.

I’ve seen too much. I’ve known too much. This is the only way forward for me. What I hold now will last the rest of my days. No vice will ever take it from me.

I wont lose faith. This is the only way forward for me. This is the moment of choice. The will remains. This is the moment of choice to sustain me through the worst of days. Straight edge.
